Introduction

The XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock is another rushdown suit, this time equipped with a powerful 236X shotel toss special that negates many types of enemy projectiles to give Sandrock a way in. Once it's in it has access to a hitgrab combo ender or meter-reliant infinite in the corner. The inability to air throw and limited combo routes do limit Sandrock in some respects.

Strengths Weaknesses
  • Best defense in the game.
  • High throw damage.
  • Both ground and air Weak Weapon has decent speed, range, and is a combo starter.
  • Shotels can counter projectile strategies.
  • Super can negate Epyon's super with its high projectile count.
  • Most attacks are slow.
  • Normal chain combo routes are limited.
  • Super is slow to start and doesn't cancel.
  • Can't throw while airborne.
