• November 29th, this Saturday, marks SNK’s premium trial event for The King Of Fighters XII, to be held at Enterbrain’s 2nd floor locale, the Winpa Event Space. Look forward to a new location test with more characters from the full roster to be revealed!
• As of yesterday Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm for Playstation 3 and Dragon Ball Z Infinite World for Playstation 2 should be available at game retailers across the US.
• The official website of the World Cyber Games has posted the tournament brackets and match schedule for its final run of Virtua Fighter 5, to run from November 6th through the 9th. You can watch the recently completed Japan leg of the qualifiers here.
• November 6th through 9th also will mark the first location test run for Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion, at Namco City and Namco Wonder Park.
• Based on the popular anime, Soul Eater Battle Resonance is coming to the PSP January 29th 2009. Famitsu has preview screens here.
• Famitsu has a nice recap of the November 3rd Capcom Fighting Festival 2008, featuring the national tournaments for Street Fighter IV, Tatsunoko VS Capcom and Fate Unlimited Codes, as well as the official reveal of new playable characters Viewtiful Joe, Saki, Jun The Swan, Daimao, Roll and Ippatsuman in the TvC roster and Gen, Cammy, Feilong and Dan to SF4.
• Naruto: The Broken Bond, the sequel to Naruto Rise Of A Ninja, has a demo available via Xbox Live Marketplace. The full game will be out November 18th.
• Doujin fighting game Mai Hime: Fuuka Taisen has been updated to version 1.02. Official site.
• High quality video and screens of Sakura and the other assorted new additions to Street Fighter IV lie here over at Neo Arcadia.
• Gametrailers’ page for all current media of Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe is here. ( Is it some kind of coincidence that the html page marker reads “6666″? ) The game ships in less than a week.
• Later this month on November 20th the PSP port of Mobile Suit: Gundam VS Gundam will be released, with 2 0n 2 support via ad hoc networking. Trailer is here.
• The King Of Fighters: Orochi Saga is now out for PSP!
• If you’re keeping an eye out for Blazblue, please check out the Aksys Games’s official US arcade distributor’s blog here, they regularly update with combo footage, high quality images and news on how to get the game.
• 8WayRun has a very thorough wiki on Soul Calibur IV up now, with frame data, combo guides, backstory and pretty much everything you would want to know to get serious about the game.
